Other guides

You may find some of our other LibGuides useful for your discipline. Here are the ones I recommend taking a look at:

Other guides

Your home university also provides subject guides, often focusing on a specific programme:

  • CCCU (Counselling,
Coaching & Mentoring, Education and Childhood Studies).
  • Greenwich
(Education and the PGCert in Higher Education).
  • Kent (Education).

Welcome

Welcome to this subject guide page for Education disciplines studied across the Universities at Medway. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Childhood Studies
  • Career Management
  • Professional Practice (Teaching and Learning)

Here you will find useful information resources specific to your discipline. Please note that each university will have its own unique set of subscriptions and access rights, this has been indicated wherever possible.

If you are having trouble accessing a resource via your University gateway, please email me, David Evans, for help.

Future Learn

FutureLearn is one of the platforms which provided access to short courses from universities in the UK and around the world. Anyone can sign up for these courses, which can be an interesting way to find out something new.

For example, the University of Kent have a course called Understanding Autism, which is available on FutureLearn.
